About post:

Today’s post is about how to take screenshot in firefox using developer tools GCLI command. We all know that taking screenshot is really important in online industry. To take a full-page screenshot sometime we use some kind of third party browser addons (extension). But there are some cons of using third party addons in your browser. Like; security issue, browser crash, browser launching time and so on.
That’s why mozilla integrated a screenshot (current page/full page) taking tool in firefox’s developer tools. And now I’ll show you how to take advantage of this tool and take screenshots easily.

How to take high resolution screenshot:

Step 1: Open your desired page in firefox and just press Shift+F2 from keyboard.

Step 2: GCLI command prompt will open in bottom side of firefox.

Step 3: In command section type “screenshot” for taking on page screenshot & type “screenshot --fullpage” for taking full page screenshot.

Step 4: Finally hit the Enter button, your screenshot will be saved.

Note 1: Your screenshot will be saved on "C:\Users\User-Name\Downloads".

Note 2: I personally checked this trick on mozilla firefox 31. But I'm pretty much sure this will work on all above versions & I got a little doubt about older version via keyboard shortcut.
